  The office staff are cold, not to mention just not good at their jobs. I called to make an appointment, it was approximately 2 weeks away, (plenty of time to get a pcp referral). On the day of my appointment I arrived 15 minutes early for paper work. When I get there they ask for my pcp referral(first time it was mentioned to me). I ask if this was information I should have been informed about 2weeks ago when I made this appointment? Crickets, no one wanted to answer me right away and then went as far as to say that it was pretty much common knowledge. Lies, not all insurance works exactly the same. I understand we are all human but you do this job everyday and deal with insurance everyday, I do not. So I don't appreciate being made to feel like this was my over site when it was clearly yours. Instead of being understanding and apologetic, they were extremely cold (probably due to the fact that no one wanted to take responsibility for the oversite) and if the office help doesn't not do their jobs well from straight out of the gate. I take this as a huge red flag! The doctors may be the best in the business but I will never know because I will never go due to office edict. I hope this helps someone avoid the same disappointed and agrivation I endured. When you are in excruciating pain that's the last thing you need!

  Let me start off by saying 1 person ruined my experience here. Dr. Gernert is amazing and so was everyone else that I spoke with. But never in my life have I been cussed at and talked down to like I have today by their billing department. That lady cursed about me, said I wouldn't pay my bill and told me to find another Doctor. All because I didn't receive a bill and questioned it. Why would I not pay my bill? Do I want some random lady to cuss at me for asking a question concerning my bill. No, sorry that is your job. So cussing at me and talking to me like a child is not very professional or nice.
